Free Flow Creatvity

Unity has seen more and more architects, engineers and designers looking for unique ways to create additional designs, layouts and patterns, similar to that of PIP (Pour-In-Place), using the tile/mat/block/paver system that will “POP” on playgrounds, rooftops, recreational areas, schools, daycare centers, parks, etc.,

We have identified the challenges of using the traditional tile/mat/block/paver systems …………and we’ve responded………boy-o-boy, did we respond.

UNITY'S Staggard Interlocking Design Allows for Free-Flowing Designs

We have always been one step ahead of the competition. After being in the business longer than most (established 1987), we are committed to forward thinking and anticipating the needs of our clients. First, it was with the introduction of our interlocking tiles back in the early 90’s. More recently (in the 2,000s), we have created a new design feature to combat the problems that many architects, engineers and designers are facing, such as: product-to-product separation, curling and/or pealing resulting in poor performances of the finished product.

After months of planning and years of testing, safety surfacing landscaping designs you’ve been dreaming of can now become a reality with the proud introduction of the “Running Bond” method of installation.

Unity's Step and Repeat as well as Running Bond

The “Running Bond” method of installation allows our products to self-interlock (horizontally) anywhere along the staggard locking joints, providing free flowing designs, layouts, patterns and themes throughout your area that you can image, providing complete design freedom for any vision regardless of size, style and/or complexity by locking our tiles along ANY interlocking tab............something that is unmatched in the industry today.

UNITY - Free Flowing Designs Layouts and Pattern Ideas for customers

This unique system does not replace our current “step-&-repeat” method of installation…………it compliments it. Each “Running Bond” method of Installation helps with slight variations during installation, while at the same time allow for custom designs, layouts and patterns as seen here. This technological advancement further strengthens the idea that architects, engineers, and/or designers can truly provide unlimited design capabilities, layouts and patterns that will compliment any area.
