We have created a number of design and planning strategies for our customers in an effort to allow for the proper social distancing of children and adults.....all while keeping them safe from falls to the surfacing below.
As you can see, the playground equipment, rock-wall (in the distance) and our custom blended safety surfacing is designed to inspire play, strengthen muscles, develop agility and balance, encourage the development of social skills, provide physical challenges, reinforce learning and promote child/ parent interaction.
We feel we have safety accomplished that goal for this housing authority's "pocket playground" with our custom blended TPV/EPDM top tiles using: 65% Dark Green and 35% Bright Green collaboration to reduce fading while at the same time decrease surfacing temperatures.
We are currently working with them on other playground surfacing projects as a result.
