Unity Creations, LTD manufactures these products for “Unity” Surfacing Systems
with manufacturing facilities throughout the United States and the world.

We have been in the manufacturing business since 1987 and are probably one of the only companies to receive, not only one, but two grants from the government in reference to recycling items, such as tires, into finished products, like our rubberized safety surfacing, flooring and paver products seen here. We have incorporated new technology that will increase our output to keep up with the increasing demand for our products and services. With this new technology up and running, Unity can now manufacture three more thicknesses: 3/8" 5/8" and ½" thick along with its current manufacturing ability of eight thicknesses, now in production. With the development of this new technology to increase production and its new recycling center for recycling tires for use in our finished products, Unity is now expanding its 12+-acre facility to a sister building that is located on the property. As a result, Unity will have one building exclusively for recycling, another building exclusively for production of finished products, and the final building for offices, storage and warehousing as seen in the pictures below. |

We acknowledge with many thanks to Governor Pataki, Senator Bonacic and Assemblyman Hooker for their efforts along with Peter Gallagher and Linda Hoskings of the Empire State Development, Environmental Services Unit for there support. We are continuing our quest to save the earth and its environment, now and in the future. And with there help and yours, we will continue to do so. We are utilizing most of our recycled materials and placing them directly into our finished products. With such control of the raw materials, our products will be the most consist products available.

Our Products are installed over any existing surface or rooftop, we have a unique product that consumers are very satisfied with. The maintenance free safety surfacing, flooring and paver products we offer are a double tile-mat-block yielding an authentic double interlocking system with bolt-down capabilities that provides safety to the area 365 days a year that no one in the industry can match. This patented tongue and groove technology is designed to snap and hook into place allowing us to have a monolithic "step and repeat" pattern to stagger the seams as if you were installing "brick work," thus making them vandal resistant. In addition to the unique features and attractive look, we have passed several safety testing including:
Fall Safety Heights, Skid Resistance, Weathering (Aging), Fire Retardant, ADA, Thermal Conductivity and Wind Uplift.
These important tests are the value of avoiding legal problems resulting from lawsuits that stem from in appropriate ground cover. Here at "Unity" Surfacing Systems we help solve these problems by meeting or exceeding the current: ADA (Americans With Disabilities Act); CPSC (Consumer Product Safety Commission) and ASTM (American Standards for Testing Materials) safety tests.

Made from 100% recycled tires and rubber, a material once headed for landfills is now being used thanks to us. Many people think: "out of sight, out of mind". This is a scary thought when our grandchildren will need to use the Earth and it's environment in the future. Today many federal, state, and local agencies are providing "Grants", “Funding”, “In kind Contributions” and many other buyback opportunities when using our products. As a result of such great opportunities, many Federal, State and Local governments and even companies will reimburse you for using our recycled products. In suburban areas like this one, there is virtually no place for children to play, or adults to enjoy themselves, away from the busy streets below. Here you see a Daycare Center/ Playground fitted with our products on the roof. As seen here, anyone can design and layout custom patterns to his or her liking. Notice the diamond shapes throughout this 7,000 square foot area that was effortless to install. |

Walking, Playing, Running, Standing or just simply enjoying our unitary rubberized safety surfacing, flooring and paver products prevents leg fatigue in children and people of all ages. A fall onto a shock-absorbing surface is much less likely to cause serious injury as opposed to a fall onto a hard or unsafe surface. Head impact injuries, from falls onto unsafe surfaces, is most life threatening. The severity of injury is decreased when using shock-absorbing surfaces such as our resilient products. However, it should be recognized that injuries due to falls couldn’t be prevented regardless of the surfacing material used.

More and more agencies throughout the United States and the world are switching to our products that are manufactured in a manufacturing plant for insurance purposes. If anyone is injured due to a fall onto the surface below, the agency or owners of the facilities will be responsible for the injuries. Why? A playground or any surfacing area that has uncontrolled access may require a unitary surface (i.e. rubber tiles-mats-blocks) to ensure the highest standard of safety while reducing high maintenance costs commonly associated with any loose filled products. Each and every product manufactured is backed by a full warranty to protect you and your surfacing, flooring and paver investment from manufacturers defects. Extended warranties are available for your convenience as well. A written warranty is available upon request.

Here at this community pool complex, the owners decided to install our interlocking rubberized safety surfacing, flooring and paver products as a result of the insurance company who was threatening to remove the diving board or be dropped. Instead the community installed our products over the traditional concrete to prevent injuries and leg fatigue for everyone in the development. As a result, there insurance premiums were reduced and the diving boards we able to stay. |
