On behalf of Governor Pataki, I am please to inform you that
a thorough review and evaluation of the proposals received
for the January 1998 solicitation of Empire State Development's
Recycling Investment Program is completed and I have approved
Unity Creations Ltd's application, subject to your satisfactorily
complying with the conditions spelled out in the forthcoming
contract.
Through Governor Pataki's strong commitment to our recycling programs, these
awards will help preserve and enhance the environment of New York State. This
award of $100,000.00 will assist you in optimizing a recycled rubber mat manufacturing
process.

3 Million Dollar Plus Contract for New York City
As per our conversation, we would like to enter into a contract with you in regards
to your interlocking rubberized safety surface. Right now we have a 3 million
dollar plus contact with the City of New York to install interlocking rubber
surfaces. The contract is for three years and basically states that the 3 million
dollars is to be used for as many installations that can be accomplished within
the three year period. We project that the average size would be about 5,000
sq. ft. and we should be able to do around 60 of them. About 85% of the 3 million
dollars is directly related to your product, and the remaining 15% would be associated
with our work. Obviously most of them will be done in the spring time, but as
of right now we have at least 2 that we would like to do before year end if weather
permits.

Ulbern Realty
We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for supplying and installing
your rubberized Unity Surfacing System on the rooftop at Bethel Baptist Daycare
Center. Your double tile-mat-block with its double interlocking system impressed
us most. Upon seeing the sample colors that were sent to our office and seeing
your products installed at other centers, we decided to go with red and green
in a zigzag pattern as seen in your brochure.
The products were delivered expeditiously and the entire job went smoothly. During
installation we were impressed with the work your men did by supplying and installing
the fabric mesh to protect our roof before they installed the play surface. During
installation your men were respectful to our tenant and cleaned up after themselves
daily. After the installation was completed they broom cleaned the area for the
children to play on immediately. The zigzag pattern looks great, and we would
use it on our other locations.
It was a pleasure working with your men and your company and I would recommend
your product to anyone.

The Downtown Little School:
Last spring Surfacing Systems installed rubberized safety surfacing on our rooftop
play area. Erick Prinz and his crew worked diligently and completed the job within
the time frame given. The left our play area immaculate and ready for the children.
Since then Mr. Prinz has been back to check on his work and was quite pleased
with the results, as are we.
Everyone at Surfacing Systems was a pleasure to work with and I recommend then

ELLA BELL
I would like to take this opportunity to graciously thank you and your company
for installing your 1 1/2" (inch) "Pave-Land" series: safety surfacing
and flooring in the tile-mat-block form in the basement of our home in Northport,
Long Island, New York using the "splash design." Your recommendation
to go with the 1 1/2" over the 1" seems better then expected. I
would also like to thank your installation crew for having to carry the materials
from
the road, down the driveway, around the back of the house and to the basement
for installation. I don't know how they did it, but we are quite pleased
with them especially since it only took them one day instead of two.
This product is much better then the mildew ridden carpet that was once there.
It really stunk up the basement. Now it is much dryer down there, especially
since we still have that water leak. Over the winter when the kids would
go down there to play, and for me to watch, the floor did not retain the
cold temperatures
that I thought it would. In fact, it was quite pleasurable to walk on especially
after being on our feet all day long. The kids now call the basement: "The
Midnight Room" because the flooring looks like the sky at night with
the stars as those white chips are in it.
After learning that your material is made from clean 100% recycled tires and
rubber. I have taken the liberty of sending you this letter because we feel that
everyone should be encouraged to use recycled products, especially yours. Have

Gan Day Care Center
Thank you for the beautiful outdoor safety surfacing you installed on our playground.
If you would see the breathtaking emotions of both children and stall you would
agree that a beautiful playground expands a childs ability to value his own capabilities
and celebrate others as well.

Thank you for helping us create a safe and durable playground for our 160 preschool
children. We now have a sensible and beautiful area that will provide great fun
for kids. The gentlemen who came to upgrade our existing playground and installed
the new surfacing were friendly and professional and as anyone can see, they
did an uncommon job. Please thank Clerio from us, because he took an interest
in making sure that our playground would be able to withstand daily use by so
many children.

The Assembly
I am writing in strong support of Unity Creations grant application for the development
of a tire-recycling center in the town of Saugerties, Ulster County.
Recently my office assisted the town in their efforts to complete the clean up
of a once large tire dump located in the Town of Saugerties. The addition of
this recycling center would provide a location for the safe and productive use
of these used tires. Companies, schools, and municipal facilities through out
the nation utilize the products Unity Creations produce from these tires.
I believe the end result of having such a recycling facility will not only benefit
the company, therefore benefiting the local economy in Saugerties, but it will
also benefit those consumers who purchase their products and the environment
by removing these used tires.
In light of these positives, I again express my support of Unity Creations application
and hope that you will grant them approval.

I wanted to thank you for taking the time to work with me on the School District
to sell the Unity Creations Safety System. It has been a very long hard process
but have received a commitment from Ralph of the School District that he will
give us the opportunity to install our products in one of the school playgrounds
in 2006. If our product performs as we have said, then he will standardize on
this product for all safety surfacing in the School District. The district will
start the replacement process of all playgrounds, There are 76 elementary schools
in the district and Ralph says that they spend about $100,000.00 on surfacing
for each of the playgrounds. There are 56 elementary schools that the playground
surfacing will be replaced in over the next 4 year period. I don't know at this
point how the budget is set up, but I will keep you informed as I learn the details.
Our commitment to the District and to Ralph is that you will come to supervise
the proper installation of the first project. I am going to guess that it will
be sometime in late July or early August that the installation will occur. That
just happens to be during the time of our great fishing season. We will have
to make sure that we take advantage of that opportunity as well as secure the
business from the school district.
I look forward to working with you on this opportunity and also to show you around
our beautiful state, which is a wonderful place and you can only know that after
you have been here and taken in some of the sites.
