Lubinavitch |
Here this 6,000 sq. ft. rooftop playground for this
private school in New Jersey is giving the new meaning
of going green. Green playground tiles were selected
to give children the atmosphere that they are playing
on the grass. During the winter months as seen in this
picture in adds a bit of life and excitement to the
area to help with the greenery. The "Before" and "After"
pictures can be seen on our internet web-site as well.

Philadelphia |
Another rooftop area that is.....going green..... in
Philadelphia. This project was completed in just one
day. As you can see here, this client chose Terra Cotta
Red to give this rooftop that brick patio look. Furniture,
umbrellas, and barbeques are no match for Unity. Tenants
couldn't want to decorate with plants before we were
able to snap a single photograph.

look is common in pools overlooking the water. Now you
can experience the same look with your patio overlooking
this wooded area. Contact our offices for more information
on this project and any others.

Grace Church |
OK, so our rubber pavers are everywhere. Can you blame
us? After all we are the only manufacturer to have an
MEA approval number. After this school had expanded,
they were left with no choice but to install the playground
equipment on the roof along with our playground pavers.
Green was selected as per the architects request to
give it that vegetation feel.

Views of Hudson River
from rooftop - NY |
Yes, we have done it again, turning standard roofs
into green roofs. We have installed our safety blocks
on yet another penthouse rooftop with breathtaking view.
This building once housed concrete pavers, a product
that weighed as much as 25 pounds per square foot, thus
damaging the roof membrane. After meeting the wind up-lift
criteria the property managers decided to try a more
versatile product......ours.

Hudson River Views |
Yes, we have done it again, on the same building, however
for a different client. We have installed our safety
blocks on yet another penthouse rooftop with breathtaking
view. The recycled rubber products we produce is not
only helping the environment, but also the people that
buy them to utilize more outdoor space. After meeting
the wind up-lift criteria, the property managers decided
to try a more versatile product......ours. And as you
can see it accents the facade of this building accurately.

Conn. Assisted Living |
Here you see a rooftop area that has installed our
soft tile in green to give this assisted living development
the comfort they needed over the traditional concrete
pavers that once stood there. As you can see benches,
tables, planter and chairs were no match for our products
that stood on top of a building that overlooks the water.

Penthouse Patio Rooftop
- Hudson, NY |
Simply quoting: One of the greatest achievements
in environmentally responsible construction today, is
the use of recycled rubber pavers for rooftop applications.
Unity's system can be adopted in any home or business
environment. With an increasing demand for rooftop gardens,
Their products provide insulation which contributes
positively to the areas energy savings by reducing heating
and cooling costs. Along with its greenery, the area
can also provide increased habitat and local wildlife.

River Side Church |
One of two 7,000 sq. ft. rooftop playgrounds at this
church in New York City, here, we have installed our
3 ½" thick material custom made to weigh at least
10 pounds per square foot to prevent "wind up-lift"
since this was installed unusually high up. Other pictures
of the lower rooftop area can be found on our website
as well.

Yeshiva School- NJ. |
Here you see playground surfacing installed on this
3,000 square foot rooftop area using our zigzag pattern
to stagger the seams. After receiving a forty million
dollar donation this private school was now able to
expand it's building to a third floor and include our
rooftop pavers so children in this inner city had a
place to enjoy themselves during recreational hours.
As you can see this design was effortless to install.

76 th Street, NYC |
Not everyone can enjoy views like this from buildings
in most major cities. Why, because they don't have a
finished surface to do so. Well now you can, when you
install our rubber surfacing on top of your existing
roof membrane. Here we installed 3,000 sq. ft. of our
1 ¾" Steel Gray rubber tiles so everyone can
enjoy the view. They interlock to create a great free
floating floor. They have an R-value for insulation
purposes, and they resist wind up-lift. Another effort
Unity is going green.

City Building - Rooftop
|
We loved this installation so much that we had to show
it to you twice. The difference this time is, now, you
are facing the opposite direction viewing the downtown
area as opposed to the water view as seen in the other
picture. Unity is making every effort we can to "go
green", and with your help your rooftop can look like
this too, creating a nice clean finished look for all
to enjoy.

Haverstraw Condos - Conn |
Here is a roof deck that simply installed our products
over the recreational club house to avoid having the
penthouse tenants above look down on a dark roofing
membrane that was not appealing to the eye, especially
when you're looking out onto the water. Here the clients
chose a color that would match the rest of the theme
in the complex, Tan.

using our 2 1/4" (inch) thick "Play-Land"

NYC |
Yup, you guessed it another major city in the US has
become wise to the idea of using rubber pavers as an
alternative to the traditional concrete pavers that
weigh as much as five (5) times more. Comparatively
speaking a delivered and installed price is roughly
the same. Look how clean, neat and finished this rooftop
is. And man.....what a view.

Daycare Center Rooftop |
Here is a beautiful installation we completed for yet
another school. There rooftop was designed using our
2 1/4" (inch) thick "Play-Land" series to resemble a
large checkerboard from above. The teacher all got together
to make large checkerboard pieces so the children and
adults can place checkers. A thought that is being carried
out on yet another school across town.

Residential Rooftop |
Here is a small yet important installation we did for
a homeowner in Connecticut. This wonderful elderly gentlemen
was unable to venture down the stair to go outside and
enjoy his day. Instead he called us in to install a
small patio area on his roof deck so he can now barbecue
and enjoy the outdoors.

Private Penthouse Balcony |
Here at this private rooftop residence of a well know
actor in New York City, we have installed our rubberized
safety surfacing, flooring and paver products at this
persons sole request. Why? because they were so enamored
that this material was made from 100% recycled tires
that was molded into a finished product to be used on
a retail level, they just had to have it. The when with
"Steel" color gray to match the mortar that was in the
brickwork.

Assisted Living Rooftop |
Passing a Class A fire version this assisted living
complex in New York City, installed our rubberized
safety surfacing, flooring and paver products on the
roof to give everyone the opportunity to enjoy the outdoors
without having to worry about injuries and leg fatigue.
Notice the color patterns and designs that are effortless
to install, even on larger jobs like this one that is
over 10,000 square feet.

NYC-SCA Rooftop Playground
|
This 5,000 square foot, rooftop that is used by everyone
in the building was fitted with our products on the
roof to give children and adults an outdoor place to
enjoy themselves. In large cities such as New York,
there is virtually no place for them to play and / or
enjoy themselves. As you can see, we solved this problem
by providing them with a protective rubberized safety
surfacing flooring and paver products that everyone
can use. This area is always clean and safe to use even
during the rain.

Rooftop Patio |
Here you see a rooftop that was never used until now.
After getting an approval from the board of directors
this tenant in a high-rise building was now able to
use her rooftop patio to entertain family, friends and
guests after installing our "Play-Land" products. Don't
tell anyone I am telling you this, but she also uses
this so her dogs can go outside by themselves if you
know what I mean, Shhhhhhhh!

Downtown Little School
= Blue & White |
This is a favorite of the company's for many reasons.
It was two (2) blocks from where the Twin Towers once
stood. After receiving a "grant" for the "September
11 fund". This daycare center along with the buildings
residential tenants decided to install this 3,000 square
foot playground using the "Play-Land"
series in a 50/50 mix of blue and gray. The children
were happy because they now had a place to play and
the buildings tenants below were happy because the resilient
rubber surfacing and flooring acted as a noise barrier
between them. The tenants were also able to use the
rooftop for entertainment purposes as well.
