| Here you see a 1,300 sq. ft. playground area in Newark,
NJ. for this private daycare center using the "Play-Land" series.
This area was architecturally designed with Blue and
Black mixed to match the playground equipment as specified. |
 |
| |
|
| Here you see a very large playground area (13,000 sq.
ft.) fitted with our 3" (inch) thick "Soft-Land" series.
If you look closely, there are three different types
of playground equipment. And under each unit, has a
different color and design as requested by the PTA of
this Freeport, Long Island School District. |

|
| Here you see a 500 sq. ft. residential application of
our "Rainbow-Land" series using the colorized
buffings over a conventional wood deck. As quoted by
the customer: "It's like walking on air".
Sand, woodchips and pea-gravel were not even a thought
for then since they have had bad experiences with them
in the past. |

| Here is a 900 sq. ft. playground area in the Caribbean,
that's right the Caribbean. After five years of baking
in the hot sun, we have decided to fly down and take
a look at the color fading. As you can see, it has held
up quite nicely. As a result, we have recently completed
over 30,000 sq. ft. in that region of the world using
a wide variety of colors and thicknesses to complement
each area. |
 |
| |
|
| Here is another picture of a playground area we have
successfully completed in the Caribbean showing some
green coloring that has also held up quite nicely after
baking in the sun for five straight years. Keep in mind:
this picture was taken five year AFTER it has been baking
the hot Caribbean sun. As you can see cutting around
playground posts and supports are effortless. |

|
| Here is a 5,000 sq. ft. playground area using our 3" (inch)
thick "Soft-Land" series to meet an 8' (foot)
drop height requirement. We have installed this area
using Terra Cotta (Red) as the boarder tiles filled
in with the Grass Green to give children the illusion
that they are playing on grass. This school in NYC is
now designing an area for our products to be used on
there rooftop as well. |
 |
| |
|
| Here is an area that has installed our rubberized safety
surfacing, flooring and paver products in a tight area
that was converted to playground use and fenced in so
children of all ages would not run onto the busy streets.
As you can see, they used Green as the board units followed
by Red and in the infield units. |
 |
| |
|
| Ahhh yes, here you see our "Play-Land" series
installed over a huge concrete slab, a problem for them
in the past since loose filled materials gave way to
hard unsafe surfacing below. If you look closely you
can see we have installed this material using our famous "step & repeat" system
to stagger the seams as if you were installing "brickwork." Notice
the two ends in Black that look like teeth marks. |
 |
| |
|
| Here you see a more defined application on this 7,000
sq. ft. rooftop in Brooklyn, NY using our famous "step & repeat" system
to stagger the seams. Since space is the most valuable
asset in most major cities, children are forced to play
on the only other outdoor area, this rooftop. Here we
installed our 2 1/4" thick Play-Land series which
meets a Class "A" fire test. |

Here is a small, private (yet open to the public) playground area
for the children who lived in the building in the suburban
area. This was approved only for our interlocking tiles
- mats - blocks, which are specifically designed to discourage
vandalism. Green was chosen along with Terra Cotta, red,
as highlights to breakup the area and make it more exciting.

|
| Here
a local resident decided to install our rubberized
safety surfacing, flooring and paver products
instead of using a loose filled material such
as sand, pea gravel, mulch, wood chips, bark,
fiber or loose rubber because they are highly
dependant on maintenance. If not constantly replenished
and raked level, it can often fall short of providing
proper safety to the area. The parents of these
children did not want cats and dogs to use the
loose filled materials as a litter box that might
spread diseases. Bee's, hornets, wasps and other
insects like to use these same surfaces as there
new homes. Another factor for the parents was
that loose filled materials builds up in anyone's
sneaker or shoe and would be taken into there
clean home. They did not want the loose filled
materials to penetrate someone's protruding cut,
which creates a burning or stinging sensation.
They did not want anyone to receive a splinter
upon falling or tripping onto the surfacing below
with loose filled materials. Serious eye damage
might have been created by light airborne particles
flying in the air on a windy day or even from
someone throwing it that is why they have decided
to go with our "Play-Land" series in black and
green in a 50/50 mix |

Here
this church received a donation to build a safe
playground of the local community to enjoy. After
having used rubber as a safety surfacing before.
There was no hesitation from this client to purchase
more surfacing from us for their new playground.
As you can see they have used the "Play-Land" series
in a variety of colors and patterns (designs)
in this one. Great job folks!

This
library wanted to install a small playground
for children to enjoy as they came to learn and
be educated. In this picture, we have installed
the "Pave-Land" series using the "splash-design" to
match the equipment exactly, using red, green,
blue and yellow EPPM chips over black. They have
just signed on to expand the playground areas
for older children using our "Play-Land" series
for 2003.

|
Here
is another playground that has decided to install
the "Play-Land" series without using the
ADA transitional ramps. They have countersunk
this area to have the entire playground ADA accessible.
A walkway was installed on the right side then
led anyone to and from the building and the playground
area.

|
| This
is a private playground area for a daycare center
that had a concrete slab as a sub-base which
made for an excellent subsurface for our unitary
rubberized safety surfacing flooring and paver
products to be installed. This client went with
the "Soft-Land" series in green to give the children
the impression that they were playing on grass
with the outside pieces in red as warning signal
that they are near the end of the play areas
use zone. |
 |

|
| Here
at this daycare center and school where they
share the same yard for playground activities.
They have decided to go with our green tiles
- mats - blocks for the field with boxed areas
in red that is especially seen under the stationary
equipment. The other boxed areas are for movable
playground equipment for much smaller children.
Notice that everything from the boarder (concrete
curb) to the regular ground is all level and
uniform with no tripping hazards on or off the
area. |

Here is a playground
area that has installed our interlocking
safety surfacing, flooring and paver products
after the pour-in-place application was rejected.
Here we installed our "Soft-Land" series
in green with highlights of red for a drop
height of 12 feet since play equipment will
later be installed to give children in this
inner city the feeling that they are playing
on grass.

|
| Here
is a large playground that has installed our
safety surfacing, flooring and paver products
using the interlocking "Play-Land" series in
Terra cotta red and grass green. Notice the design
pattern and layout that the architects, engineers
and designers have chosen. This was done to break
up the area to be life like instead of the traditional
boring look of using one color. This type of
design work was required to resemble the building
features and to go along with the neighborhoods
look. The ENTIRE area was surfaced to make it
safe for anyone and everyone to enjoy. "Unity" can
provide you with an architectural floor plan
and layout to stencil your own area that would
be unique to you and your area. Call us for further
information on how to get a copy for yourself. |

|
| Here is another picture of the same playground area
but from a different angle. Notice how nicely our tiles-mats-blocks
are cut to fit snug around all the posts for the playground.
This versatility is unmatched due to our "step & repeat" interlocking
system which locks the products tightly together for
many years of hassle-free enjoyment preventing any gaps
and curling from occurring. |

|
| This commercial housing development and agency wanted
to install a new playground for the children within
the building as well as for the surrounding community.
After another agencies recommendation and seeing this
website to learn more about our products and services,
they decided to use us (Unity) as the surfacing of choice
to do our long lived reputation since 1987. |
 |
| |
|
| Here is another school fitted with our
products on the roof. Again, these zigzag designs
are effortless which give the surfacing and flooring
area excitement and joy to everyone. Our
products do not destroy the underlying roof membrane and
can withstand the harshest of environments passing a tough
Weathering (Aging) test and a Class A fire rating as required
by ASTM (American Standard for Testing Material). |
 |
| |
|
| Here at this private school, they decided to go with
our custom "splash design" to match the play
equipment. As a result we have installed our "Pave-Land" tiles-mats-blocks
with red, green, blue and yellow EPDM chips over a black
tile-mat-block and countersunk the area to be level
with the rest of the ground to make the area ADA accessible
for all sides. |
 |
| |
|
| Here you see yet another private school that has installed
our ruberized safety surfacing in the tile-mat-block
form utilizing the "Play-Land" series. They
have decided to use glue not only on the interlocks
but on the cones (feet &/or legs) underneath for
extra strength as well as use the bolt-down capabilities
to prevent against vandalism. |
 |
| |
|
| A playground or any surfacing area that has uncontrolled
access may require a unitary surface (i.e. rubber tiles-mats-blocks)
to ensure the highest standard of safety while reducing
high maintenance costs commonly associated with any
loose filled products. Once again our rubberized safety
surfacing, flooring and paver products meet or exceed
these safety standards. Here we installed green mixed
with red under and around the equipment area using solid
red in the rest of the area (field) to resemble a brick
look. |
