The Gann Center for Children - Brooklyn, NY.
|
This is a quote from the director of this facility: "You should see the breathtaking emotions of both the children and the staff after the installation of your products and services were complete. And you will agree that a beautiful playground expands a child's ability to value his own capabilities and celebrates others as well". Carol Hubner - The Gan Center for Children.

Chicago Parks - IL.
|
Here in the windy city of Chicago , Unity has installed our 2 ¼" thick "Play-Land" series in Blue to match the decor of the playground itself. As you can see, the oval shape was no match for our products to be cut and fit nice and tightly to give this playground a nice clean finished look. We thank the contractor for pouring the curb exactly to specification to sit flush with the remaining areas.

Rooftop playgrounds utilize our rubber surfacing in green to give everyone, especially children, the atmosphere that they are playing on grass. The owners have taken such good care of the existing playground equipment that they decided to leave it be and install new play tiles around it.

After five years of New York City kids playing on this school playground. Both Unity and the school board decided to do an independent study, and inspection, of our playground pavers. Under and around the active areas such as slides and steps, our products were consistently the same throughout. In fact, everyone's results found no signs of wear & tear what so ever.

Your thinking; How can I use a rooftop for a playground? And the answer is....... Unity Creations, LTD . Passing a Class A fire test, wind up-lift, skid resistance test, drop test, etc, etc. etc, the choice is simple. We have installed hundreds of thousands of square feet of our material all over the world on rooftops, playgrounds, etc. At this particular jobsite, we have installed our 2 ½" thick Soft-Land series overlooking the George Washington Bridge , that's right, the George Washington Bridge . And man.......what a view as you can see from this beautiful picture that was taken by the property manager from the building next door and given to us personally by president of the property management company.

Philly School System - PA.
|
Like many urban areas, space is the most valuable asset one can have. Here is a school that was in desperate need of new playground tiles. After removing the old vulcanized mats that continued to fail inspection, Unity has installed there interlocking playground mats in Green. For this location we glued the interlocks together, glued the tiles to the ground and bolted them down as well. That's right "bolted". We are one of the only manufactures to offer this patented system.

Fay Park - Yonkers, NY. |
This municipality decided to use our recycled rubber playground blocks over the traditional vulcanized tiles to reduce the pressures of shrinkage, a common problem that is seen in this virgin material. Our recycled products not only interlock, but they bolt-down as well. You would never know it because our interlocks and bolt-down capabilities are hidden within the product itself and counter sunk for your safety.

PS-89 in NYC.
|
A public school here in New York City has realized that "going green" requires them to use a recycled rubber product in and around there playgrounds instead of a virgin rubber product known as vulcanized mats. Here they used the color Purple, a rare color that only Unity has, which is the schools colors.

PS-262 in Brooklyn, NY.
|
This school in New York City has decided that in order to "go green" they had to use a product that was manufactured from recycled tires and rubber, and not from virgin materials. Since our product is the only product that meets the current specification for interlocking with bolt-down capabilities, Unity Creations, LTD was selected as the manufacturer of choice. Please visit our: "Before and After" page of our website for more photographs of this installation.

Play-Land Series |
Ahhh yes, here you see our "Play-Land" series installed over a huge concrete slab, a problem for them in the past since loose filled materials gave way to hard unsafe surfacing below. If you look closely you can see we have installed this material using our famous "step & repeat" system to stagger the seams as if you were installing "brickwork." Notice the two ends in Black that look like teeth marks.

Here at this daycare center and school where they share the same yard for playground activities. They have decided to go with our green tiles - mats - blocks for the field with boxed areas in red that is especially seen under the stationary equipment. The other boxed areas are for movable playground equipment for much smaller children. Notice that everything from the boarder (concrete curb) to the regular ground is all level and uniform with no tripping hazards on or off the area.

Recreational Playground Area. Pitts,
PA.
|
Here is a large playground that has installed our safety surfacing, flooring and paver products using the interlocking "Play-Land" series in Terra cotta red and grass green. Notice the design pattern and layout that the architects, engineers and designers have chosen. This was done to break up the area to be life like instead of the traditional boring look of using one color. This type of design work was required to resemble the building features and to go along with the neighborhoods look. The ENTIRE area was surfaced to make it safe for anyone and everyone to enjoy. "Unity" can provide you with an architectural floor plan and layout to stencil your own area that would be unique to you and your area. Call us for further information on how to get a copy for yourself.
