Application:
TopCoat PolyFloor
Paint is a base coat – Stir until uniform viscosity is obtained.
Pour on area and spread
uniformly with a squeegee, paintbrush, roller or sprayer.
Apply at a rate of 100 sq. ft. per gallon on wide strips.
If a second coat is
required for additional filling and to uniform the surface,
apply at a rate of 100 sq. ft. per gallon at a right angle
of the method of applying the first coat. With a sprayer
or a wide hair type push broom or lambs wool roller apply
at a rate of 200 sq. ft. per gallon to a uniform finish.
Brush apply with a
nylon or fiber bristle brush working the material into voids,
cracks and crevices to completely seal the surface properly.
Finish off with a straight horizontal stroke, using the
tip of the brush.
Roller apply the area
after brushing for a more uniform finish. It is applied
with a long nap masonry roller. Be sure to smooth off any
lap marks. The use of a piece of expanded metal cut to fit
into a 5 gallon pail and extending about ˝ feet out of the
paid, will make it easier to take excess paint off the roller
and allow it to drain back into the 5 gallon pail.
